Scene Magazine

A very busy month ahead, May has begun with the GCA agents seminar at London's Business Design Centre. It was a very insightful day where key speakers shared valuable knowledge about our industry. This was also a fantastic opportunity to meet and network with many other independent publishing and design houses.
Riding the wave,  we are continuing to receive orders from Paperchase and we are advertising with  Scene Magazine and The Garden Shop Catalogue. Oh and lets not forget PG Live at the end of the month! We have sent out all of our invitations but please do let us know if we have missed you.
See you at the show!

The Cheek Of It!

Symetria recently completed branding projects for two very exciting (and very different) businesses.

The Cheek Of It!  School of Burlesque
One of the country's leading Burlesque schools, training over 700 women a year! Founded by the delightful Zoe Charles aka Lady Cheek, this very saucy faculty runs a variety of workshops and hen parties across the UK, Europe and USA. Running classes out of Pineapple Dance studios, graduates go on to perform at many established venues including London Burlesque Festival, Madam Jo Jo's and Volupte to name but a few. We had the honour of designing the school's logo and the Lady Cheek Character seen below.

Neil's Recruitment Co.
A specialist recruitment consultancy based in London, NRC has clients spanning across the digital media, marketing and advertising industries. Briefed by director Neil Middlemass, our task was to produce branded stationery and welcome packs for prospective candidates. To accompany the agency's call to action 'Not Big, Just Clever', we created a series of illustrations which stars a miniature elephant as the key feature. This character treatment was applied to different media including business cards, mugs and bespoke good luck cards finished with the distinctive Symetria signature.

Love bites on Tottenham Court Road

Last week, I popped into Paperchase on Tottenham Court Road to see if I could spot any Symetria designs. Sure enough, there they were,  gleaming back at me from the top of the gondola.
After a thorough recce around the store I couldn't find The Little Black Cat anywhere. I later found out this was because they had sold out!
The latest order has since been dispatched and TLBC is back on sale!
