PUD all over the Design Museum

Last night's event 'Sparkle The Dark Up' at the Design Museum certainly lived up to its title. Running alongside current exhibitions Digital Crystal and Unexpected Pleasures, little wonders were taking place throughout the building. We were treated to activities such as Pop and Sparkle Christmas card making, and The Shard Of Cards  - where the DM artist in residence built an architectural sculpture from the ghosts of Christmas cards' past. The spirit of Christmas continued with the creation of interactive e-cards where, with the aid of a photographer, the public could feature in their own digital Christmas cards. Last but not least was Illustrate Yourself - where illustrator Sion Ap Tomos helped turn us into walking snowflakes!

All throughout this enchanting evening, Projecting Christmas treated passers-by to a spectacular display of festive designs projected onto the side of the museum. The giant slideshow featured images from our Little Black Cat and Mulled ranges, which could be seen from across the Thames. It was an honour to have our work featured on London's most iconic home of design, and a special end to a fantastic year for Symetria.

No... not London's favourite current affairs talk show but the one and only... Little Black Cat is featured in this month's edition of Greetings Today. The industry magazine is out now and available for download here.

Disconupelle

Whilst surfing the web for our own name (as you do), we stumbled upon Alex Grace's webpage Disconupelle - a blog dedicated to her fine creation of tote bags. The Little Black Cat features in her June post and has been given the honorary title of 'Card Of The Week'
Many thanks Alex!

Maybe a future Little Black Cat / Disconupelle totebag collaboration could be on the cards?
(pardon the pun)
